Ethiopian Food

For some reason, have really been into Ethiopian food the past few months - it must be a combination of the spices and the injeera bread.

Living not too far from Footscray is a bonus for that. There seem to be about a dozen Ethiopian restaurants around Footscray - mostly in Nicholson St, vamping up an area which previously was the haunt of drug addicts and winos.

Have tried a few - Addis Abbada, Africa Town, Dinkesh (Lucy), Harambie, and Cafe Lallibela. And Ibex in Sunshine. All are pretty good.

Now that I am on holidays for 9 weeks, I plan, once I get back from my visit to Newcastle, to try them all out and see what they all are like.

Shall be good fun.
